Crèche This happens every Sunday morning after the first part of the service. Parents of babies and very young children are asked to speak to one of the stewards when arriving for the service.
Children (GIGAWAC) Our Children's Sunday School is called GIGAWAC (God Is Great And We Are Cool)!!
This takes place every Sunday morning after the first part of the service for children from the age of approximately 3 to 11.
A variety of activities take place with emphasis on Biblical teaching and having fun!!
Youth We have a lively youth group with some excellent and incredibly gifted and fired-up leaders.
All the activities are open to Young People in School Years 7 to 13. A current Consent Form will have to have been completed by a parent or legal guardian for the Young Person to take part.
The 3 main parts of the Youth Activities are shown below and usually take place in the basement of the Friendship Centre. The Youth Group is linked with CANTY (see Links).
Cell:Net Sunday morning services begin at 10:30am, and after spending the first 20 minutes in the service, we come out to our own meeting. During this time we will look at issues and problems that Young People encounter in their daily lives, and teach and discuss these matters from a Christian viewpoint. Making it informative and relevant, using varied ways to get the information over. There will also be times of bible studies, drama, craft and singing. Finish to tie in with the close of the morning service at approx 11:45am. After the main church service, we have our after-church social in the basement of the Friendship Centre.
Sell:Out These are purely social events, times of fun, laughter and mayhem. The Young People are encouraged to invite their friends along, and we enjoy such activities as swimming, Playstation, 10 pin bowling, pool, laser quest and lots of food!!!! These activities take place around the 2nd and 4th weekends monthly, and sometimes a small charge is made to cover the costs of outside events.
TSB T.S.B. stands for "The Spiritual Bit". This is the Youth Cell group. For those who want to explore the Bible and their own faith, and what that means a bit deeper. In a friendly, open atmosphere we enjoy spending time together, whilst studying the Bible and praying together. This group meets on a Sunday evening at 5:00pm and finishes at 6:30pm.
