Songs of Praise at Reculver Towers:  A Churches Together event on Sunday July 12th at 3pm.  Bring a picnic chair or a rug.  (If it's cold, wet and miserable this will be cancelled).

CTIHB Prayer Breakfast:  All are welcome on Saturday 25th July from 7:30am to 9:30am at St Andrew's Church Hall, Hampton Pier Avenue.

Re:Act and Jungle Jamboree:  This summer the Jungle Jamboree Holiday Club will be taking place from Tues 28th to Thurs 30th July at HBBC, which will be a fun-filled activity time for children.  The Re:Act day will take place the next day on Fri 31st July and is part of a nationwide initiative by Urban Saints.  We need your support.



Who We Are
A very warm welcome to the Herne Bay Baptist Church web site.

We are a loving and diverse community in the heart of Herne Bay town centre who are united in our love for Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation, allowing us all to have a relationship with God The Father, in the power of His Holy Spirit.

We aim to provide a warm and welcoming place where newcomers and "regulars" alike can come and worship God together and feel they are valued.  We want people to feel at home here and be able to join in with us in our various activities.

The following mission statement was agreed by the church in February 1998:
"The mission of Herne Bay Baptist Church is to take the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to all who are outside of the Christian Church with the aim that they become his loyal disciples."

Membership of the church is through believer's baptism. Communion is open to all who love the Lord Jesus as Saviour.

We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB).
