The Lounge at HBBC
Use the links in the menu on the left of this page to get back to the main HBBC Website.
Your lounge is where you gather in a relaxed way with your friends and family, and talk about the important things that matter, and also just chill and share all sorts of stuff together. There will be interviews, low lighting, cups of tea, music and a very informal atmosphere.
The Bay Project Presentation & Interview
On 15th June 2008, Simon Jamison who is Project Manager of The Bay Project spoke to us. He gave an inspiring presentation on all the youth initiatives that are current, under development, and planned for the future. A copy of his presentation is available HERE and includes prayer points.
Mike & Anne Barton - Searchlight Missionaries
On 16th March 2008, Anne & Mike joined us at The Lounge to share their life experiences, testimony and songs during their years working all around the world as missionaries. You can hear the whole session recorded or individual songs. Be aware that the balance between spoken word and the songs in the whole session recording is not that great unfortunately. The songs are inspired, with most being written by Mike and Anne, and the rest by people that they know.
Their style is often deliciously folky with some gorgeous harmonies. Check out the powerful Stone Walls and the thought-provoking Love My Brother. Apparently, they were "a bit rusty" when they did this session - puts most of us to shame!!!
