NEWS & ACTIVITIES AT HBBC!!!
Recorded MP3 Sermons: All sermons up to Sun 25th July are now uploaded. See the Sermon Archive or link from the Pastor's Thoughts page.
River Music: Come along on Sunday 8th August at 6:30pm to sing your heart out to the God who gave His one and only Son so YOU can have eternal life and a relationship with the Lord your God.
New Style Lounge: It should be worth the wait, so come along for the new-look Lounge on Sunday 15th August at 6:30pm for testimonies, live music and chat, along with some decent tea and coffee and cakes!! Note that there is NO July service.
Messy Church!! There is no session in August, so the next family-orientated session will be on Sat 4th Sept from 4pm until 6pm. Bring your children and stay with them as you all take part in lots of themed creative activities, a short talk with songs, and supper as well, so you don't even have to worry about feeding them when you get home!!
Who We Are A very warm welcome to the Herne Bay Baptist Church web site.
We are a loving and diverse community in the heart of Herne Bay town centre who are united in our love for Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation, allowing us all to have a relationship with God The Father, in the power of His Holy Spirit.
We aim to provide a warm and welcoming place where newcomers and "regulars" alike can come and worship God together and feel they are valued. We want people to feel at home here and be able to join in with us in our various activities.
The following mission statement was agreed by the church in February 1998: "The mission of Herne Bay Baptist Church is to take the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to all who are outside of the Christian Church with the aim that they become his loyal disciples."
Membership of the church is through believer's baptism. Communion is open to all who love the Lord Jesus as Saviour.
We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB).
Please feel free to browse and get a feel for what we have to offer you.
See Take A Tour page for information on the church's history.
